7000 Gallons Of Rain
Rain sequences in the drama “Deep Valley” required more than 7000 gallons of water which was piped on both the stage and outdoor sets. Huge fans were set up to whirl the fall of water in front of the camera and duplicate a torrential Californian downpour. Special lighting arcs were constructed' to add ferocity to the storm.—W.B.
