Plumbers’ Difficulties
Shortages of essential materials were threatening to disrupt the economic life of the community, said the council of the New Zealand Society of Master Plumbers, in a statement issued at Wellington. Referring to the effect on the plumbing trade, the statement said that, through lack of wise import selection, the absence of materials, many cf which had been available from sterling areas from time to time, •was forcing members of the trade out of business.
