Taneatua Gardening Circle

Gardening circle members had a bright sunny day for their visit to Mrs K. Tebbutt’s home to hold their monthly meeting. ■ A seasonal reading w-as givfen and the roll call “Seasonal Hints” was well responded to. The competition arranged by Mrs Tebbutt was won by Mrs Gardner. Best flower competition was won by Mrs K. Tebbutt, Mrs Hayward 2, and Mrs Olliver 3. Best vegetable: Mrs Olliver 1, Mrs Hayward 2, Mrs Butler 3. . Bowl of autumn leaves and berries for effect: Mrs Olliver 1, Mrs Hayward 2, Mrs Bennett 3.
