Miss Doreen Hughes, of Waimana, has returned after a fortnight’s holiday at Wellington. Mr and Mrs W. Stevenson, of Waimana, are at present on holiday at Auckland. Miss Nola Rust, of Waimana, left on Saturday for a holiday at Auckland. " *’ ‘ Mr B. S. Barry is expected to return to Wliakaiarie' 6n Monday after a short visit to Rotorua. Mr W; Sullivan, will 'return to Whakatane tomorrow after attending the opening of Parliament. • ' Sergeant E. D. Fraser, of Wellington, who has been relieving at the Whakatane Police Station during Sergeant M. Farrell’s illness, returned to his duties in Wellington on Wednesday. Sergeant Farrell has resumed duty.
