The Strand, Phone 25. 65 BAY Ot PLENTY HOSPITAL BOARD PUBLIC NOTICE OF PROPOSED APPLICATION FOR SANCTION OF LOAN Notice is hereby given that the Bay of Plenty Hospital Board proposes at its meeting to be held on the Bth day of July 1948, to consider a motion to apply to the Local Government Loans Board for its sanction to the borrowing of the sum of £30,000 for the purpose of erecting and furnishing additions to the Nurses’ Home at the Whakatane Hospital. The charges in respect of the said loan will be met from the ordinary revenues of the Board, consisting mainly of payments from the {?o----cial Security Department, Levies on contributory Local Bodies limited to .5 pence per £ of rateable capital value, and Government Subsidy. The effect of the loan charges on the revenue of the Board will be to increase the amount of subsidy payable by the' Government. Any person having any objection to the proposed application is called upon to submit the same in writing to the Bay of Plenty Hospital Board not later than the day preceding the said meeting.
