Not Hot Headed
There were no hot heads among the armoured men portraying guards and soldiers in Warners’ “Adventures of Don Juan.” Their metal helmets were insulated with a thin layer of rock wool as protection against the extreme heat of technicolour lightning. What is believed to be the most extensive wardrobe ever provided for a motion picture has been assembled for “Don Juan.” More than five thousand 17th century outfits have been made already for stars Errol Flynn, Viveca Lindfords and other players in the film. Funny Fan Mail
The fan mail department at Warner’s studio is hoarding what is believed to be the prize fan request of all times. From a man confiding that he had qnartfgttea with his wife» the letter asked the loan of the Claude Rain’s formula for becoming invisible. The writer also urged quick response. “Cold weather is rapidly approaching,” he said, “and I understand that only me, not my clothing, can be made to disappear.” Actor Claude Rains made his first screen appearance in “The Invisible Man.” W.B.
