Fifteen Smokes From Packet Of Ten

A London newspaper published the following recipe (secured from Germany) for obtaining 15 smokes from only 10 cigarettes: “Ten cigarettes leave 10 butts. Ten butts rerolled make three more cigarettes and leave one butt over. Four butts equal one cigarette and one butt over. Thus after four extra cigarettes you are left with two butts. Borrow a butt from a friend to make a fifth cigarette and repay him with the final butt.”
