These hockey matches will be played in the Whakatane and Rangitaiki sections of the Central Bay of Plenty Hockey Association’s competitions this week-end:— Whakatane Section Women: Whakatane v Paroa A; men: Whakatane v Awakeri B at Whakatane, umpires N. Dawson, N. Rigden, Mrs Chamberlain. Women: Paroa B v Poroporo; men: Paroa v Poroporo at Paroa, umpires Mrs Grant, Mrs Grey. Women:, Awakeri v Taneatua; men: Awakeri A v Taneatua at Awakeri, umpires W. Mair, A. Crooks. Rangitaiki Section Women: Rovers v Te Teko; men: Riverslea v Te Teko at Te Teko, umpires V. Marx, G. Hunia. Women: Matata O.G. v Rangers; men: Rovers v Richmond at Matata, umpires S. Stones, M. Cooke.
