Five degrees of frost were recorded in Whakatane yesterday morning. This is the coldest day so far this year.. The maximum temperature was 57 degrees and the minimum temperature was 31 degrees. The humidity was 83. The rainfall for the month to date has been .1 inches this falling on June 1.
