Armand Nihotte) at the opening of a private view of the autumn exhibition of the New Zealand Academy of Fine Arts. Discussing the present exhibition, M. Nihotte said that the high qualities of the artistry of the works left no doubt in his mind that the national outlook which was slowly developing in New Zealand art was a worthy one.
