Mrs E. T,. Dawson is to be the recipient of a formal letter of thanks from the Bay of Plenty Hospital Board for the services rendered to Sister L. M., Knaggs .during her recent" illness.

Mr A. Flett (Uncle Fred'do to Young New Zealanders’ Club members) of Auckland, public relations officer for Kerridge-Odeon theatres, is visiting Whakatane and will present the Young -New Zealanders’ Cup for outstanding contributions to child welfare to the local club at the Regent Theatre tomorrow. Mr Flett returns to Auckland on Sunday.
