PUBLIC NOTICES INCOME-TAX PAYABLE Taxpayers resident in the Hamilton Tax District (other than companies) are notified that income tax levied under Section 3 of Land and Income Tax (Annual) Act, 1947, is payable in one sum at any office of Land and Income Tax Dept., or at any money-order post office on Tuesday, ,15th June, 1948: Five per cent additional tax accrues if not paid on or before 6th July, 1948. Liability is not suspended by any objection, and tax must be paid by [prescribed date to avoid additional percentage; any overpayment will be refunded. The Hamilton District is comprised of following counties: Coromandel, Hauraki Plains, Kaitieke, Kawhia, Matamata, Ohinemuri, Ohura, Opotiki, Otorohanga, Piako, Raglan, Rotorua, Taumarunui, Taupo, Tauranga, Thames, Waikato, Waipa, Waitomo and Whakatane. Demands will be issued on or about Bth June, 1948, and must be presented with all payments.
