NOTE: Rarely does a herd of such outstanding quality come on the market. Messrs Costall Bros, who have been farming in Waharoa for 30 years have concentrated on type and production and have purchased only the highest butterfat backed bulls. The herd last season averaged 3271 b fat, while previously an average of 3651 b fat Factory Returns, was attained. The cows were mated early in October to Pedigree Jersey Bulls whose pedigrees and butterfat backing will be available on the day of sale, and we can with confidence recommend buyers to attend this fixture.
