Off The Course Bets?
The Government is expected to include provision for off the course betting through the toalisator in a Gaming Bill in the coming session of Parliament.
The establishment of off the course betting through -the totalisator was one of the recommendations of the 1 Gaming Commission. A -remit adopted at the Dunedin conference of the Labour Party urged that off-course betting through controlled agencies should be instituted.
