Weather Stops Women’s Golf: Next Week’s Draw

Winners of the women’s May medal competition played on the Whakatane Golf links bn Saturday were: Miss Carter, 94—19, 75; Mrs Donaldson, 111—33, 78; Mrs Hyland, 121.

Saturday’s matches were postponed on account of the weather and the Stableford Bogey drawn for thatv day will be played next Saturday.

Tomorrow the final round of the Allen Trophy will be played. Any person not playing in the competition will play a Flag match. The draw for tomorrow is:—

Bound Three Of Cup Golf To Be Completed This Week

Owing to, unfavourable weather conditions on Saturday, some matches in the third round of sectional play at the Whakatane Golf links for the Clarke and Reynolds Cups have not yet been played. Players are asked to have these games finalised by May 29. Several good cards have been handed in, resulting in the following rehandicaps: C. A. Suckling 14, M. Le Pine 17, B. L. Butler 19.

Te Teko Women’s Golf

The Te Teko Women’s Golf Club will play the first round of an Eclectic competition this week on its links at Te Teko.

Any player unable to attend is asked to notify Mrs T. Smith. This i ruling applies for this week and next week only. Following are the draws for Thursday and Sunday:— Thursday: Mrs K.
