Giant Refrigerator As Locale For Film Shots
A tremendous ice box, which was the locale for several important though humorous scenes, was a part of the kitchen equipment, in Allied Artists “It Happened on Fifth Avenue.” The scenes inside this giant refrigerator were shot during one of Hollywood’s warmest days, and that, combined with the many lights needed made it the “hottest” ice box in film history.
