Farewell Afternoon To Waimana School Teacher

A pleasant presentation afternoon was held at the Waimana School last Friday, when teachers and pupils farewelled Miss Norma Tizard, who is to be married shortly. A very good impromptu concert was given by the pupils as entertainment.

Miss Tizard had been infant mistress at the school for three years .and ° had wort 'affection of her fiittle pupils. The senior prefects presented Miss Tizard with a lovely shoulder spray and bouquet and a set of afternoon teaspoons, also a set of cake forks, from the teachers, Mr Potter and !Miss Girvin and all the pupils. Miss Tizard thanked teachers and pupils for the lovely gifts, and wished them all the best in the future.
