First New Zealand Wool Board Bursary Awarded
A £IOOO bursary to enable him to continue his studies of sheep ecology overseas for two years has been awarded by the New Zealand Wool Board to Mr A. E. Henderson, who is at present in charge of all 'wool teaching at Lincoln Agricultural College. A member of a Southland farming family, Mr Henderson is 31 years of age, and holds the degree of Bachelor 'of Agricultural Science. So that their experience will not be lost to New Zealand one of the conditions of the bursaries, of which Mr Henderson’s is the first, is that the holders must return to New Zealand at the expiration of their two years’ overseas research, and enter into the service of some approved .organisation for at least three years.
