County License Revenue

During the financial year ended March 31, license fees collected by the County Inspector, l\4r A. Carling, showed an increase of £1379 12s 4d over the previous year, according to the annual report placed before the County Council at its last meeting. Heavy traffic licenses issued numbered 1,077 and yielded £5,900 12s in fees. The difference between that and the total of £7,639 11s fees collected was made up by dog registrations, £709 Bs, drivers’ licenses, £674, and sundry licenses and building permits, £355 Is.

Registered dog population of the County was 3,264. There drivers’ licenses issued.
