Mr R. Morpeth, jr., returned to Whakatane from Auckland on Saturday for the school holidays.

Mr P. Simons, of Ohope, accompanied by his wife left Whakatane last week on an extended tour of the North Island. Their first'stop was at the Waitomo Caves in the King Country. They are expected to return on May 23.
