Mr R. Morpeth, jr., returned to Whakatane from Auckland on Saturday for the school holidays.
Mr H. Rochfort, M.A., Dip. Ed.; Principal of the Te Awamutu College, accompanied by his wife,- is at present on holiday at Ohope.
Miss G. Burt, studying teaching at the Auckland Teachers’ Training College, returned to Whakatane last Saturday for. the term holidays.
; Mrs’ C. E.’ Parr, of Shannon, is at present visiting, her daughter,; Mrs D. O. Stewart, 39 Domain Roas3, Whakatane. :
Mr P. Simons, of Ohope, accompanied by his wife left Whakatane last week on an extended tour of the North Island. Their first'stop was at the Waitomo Caves in the King Country. They are expected to return on May 23.
