Pittar, we will sell on his property at Te Tumu on Friday, May 13, the whole of his herd of 80 dairy cows comprising:— 40 Good Quality Young Jersey Cows 20 Good Quality Young Friesian Cows 20 Good Quality Jersey Cross Cows 20 Yearling Jersey Heifers 10 Yearling Friesian Heifers. Auctioneer’s Note: Mr Pittar is giving up dairying, having engaged a man, who has his own herd, to' milk on the half share basis. This herd has been heavily culled since Mr Pittar took it over two years ago. High quality Friesian and Jersey heifers were put in as replacements so that the cows to be offered comprise a large number of second and third calvers.
