Card Afternoon
Members and friends of the Women’s Section of the Whakatane branch of the National Party gathered at the home of Mr and Mrs N. Carter, McGarvey Road, on Monday for an enjoyable card afternoon. A large group attended making the afternoon a real success. After the cards had finished those present were entertained to afternoon tea then the party broke up.
