Rangitaiki Defence Rifle Club’s Practice Shoot
The Rangitaiki Club held a prac- 1 tice shoot last Saturday, seven shots at 500 and 600 yard ranges. Heavy rain*set in causing the shoot to be abandoned, but those who were fortunate to finish shooting before the rain put in some fine scores. S. Pearse was in top form and nut on a fine possible at 600 and only missed one point at the 500, making him, top with a splendid score of 69 of a possible of 70. Details:— 500yds: S. Pearse 34, P. Newton 34, W. Moore 32, P. McGillan 31, L. Davies 31, R. Burgess 30, A. Moore 30, C. Penny 29. 600yds: S.. Pearse 35, L. Davies 33, C. Penny 30, R. Burgess 29, W. Moore 27. -
