Fencing Wire Still Short But Baling Wire Assured

The shortage of wire, both for hay-baling and fencing, is considered by the aid to Britain National Council to be of the utmost importance in the increased production drive.

After full consideration of the position the Council is satisfied that every effort is being made to obtain supplies to meet the Dominion’s requirements. With .regard to hay-baling wire, it has been stated that supplies for this season and for next season are practically assured. The wire has been bought from Czechoslovakia and Belgium. Similar quantities of pick-up baler twine should also be available next season.
