April Medal Results Whakatane Golf Club And This Week’s Draw

The results of the Whakatane Golf Club’s April Medals played on 14 and 17 are: A, Miss Robins 83— 11—72; B, Mrs Grey 100—28—72,1 C, Mrs Ker 113. On 21 and 24 the qualifying round for the Allan trophy will be,played in conjunction with an extra medal. N The course was in excellent order for the first medal round, played last Saturday, the following being the best of many good cards returned: M. D. Murray 79—18—61; K. N. Hannah 83—18—65; R. J. Pattison 75—9—66; E. Shuker 95—26—69. As a result of re-handicapping Murray and Hannah were reduced to 15 and Pattison to 8.

On Saturday a medal round will be played in conjunction with the second round of a 36-hole Eclectic. Players choose own partners and go off in three.
