“The relationship between a bishop and his people is more human, kindly, and friendly in New Zealand than it is in England,” said the Bishop of Wellington (the Right Rev. R. H. Owen) recently, “and that is why I sib &» h*ppy to be a bishop out here. In England, he is more of a despot,” his Lordship told members of the Church of England Lunch Club.
