Sheep’s Clothing
Next winter an Argyleshire farm-' er will fit his sheep with couponfree waterproof, heat-retaining “jackets.” This will save him sending his lambs and young sheep to warmer areas during the winter months. The farmer, Mr’J. Ewart, of Taynuilt, said that the “sheep’s waistcoats” are made of flour bags dipboiled linseed oil. They keep the damp out and preserve the lamb’s wool.
