Alphabet Of Sounds
Mandarin, the national language of China, is spoken by 300,000,000 people. In 1911, only 20 out of every 100 people in China could read and write. Since that time a Phonetic Script Alphabet, consisting of 40 signs, has been compiled. This has made reading and writing easier for the common people.
