FREYBERG, GovernorGeneral A PROCLAMATION Pursuant to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Gover-nor-General of the Dominion of NewZealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a rubbish dump and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Whakatane as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the fifteenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight.
