It’s A Small World
One of the immigrants who arrived by the Atlantis, Mr J. McKenzie had a surprise when he was travelling on the steamer express between Wellington and Lyttelton the day after his arrival in New Zealand. He saw four Maoris on the steamer and thought that the face of one seemed familiar. When he spoke to the Maoris he discovered that his memory for faces had not been at fault. Seven years ago in the Middle East he had met and been friendly with the Maori he thought he recognised. The world is a small place.
