150 “Rounds” With Louis
Jules Munshin, Broadway comedy star who makes his film debut in Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer’s “Easter Parade,” holds the record as the only man living to climb into the ring with Joe Louis and “fight” the world champion without once being hit. Furthermore, he “fought” approximately 150 rounds with the title holder. While Munshin was in the Army overseas and entertaining his fellow G.l’s he toured with Louis, doing a comedy boxing routine.
