Auckland Firm To Make Coloured Nylon Stockings

Auckland women may expeqt ,to see nylons in shades other than the beige to which they have become accustomed on sale in the shops within the next few months. An • Auckland firm plans to produce stockings made from English nylon thread in shades of black, 'navy blue, cinnamon and dark brown. Numerous requests for these shades have been received. The firm will also send supplies to Wellington and Christchurch. Dunedin shops are already selling imported nylons in shades of green, yellow, black, navy and brown. Black nylons are reported to have been rushed, but the brighter shades have been slower in attracting buy'ers.
