PONGAKAWA RABBIT BOARD EXTENSION No. 2—ROTORUA DISTRICT No. 1 INFESTED AREA Commencing at a point on the Kaituna River where the Rotorua, Tauranga main highway crosses the river, thence along the Western side of the Kaituna River, the western shore of Lake Rotoiti, the Ohau Channel and the eastern shore of Lake Rotorua to the intersection with the boundary of Whakapoungakau Block and the Wharenui Block, thence along the said boundary to the boundary of the Opakau Te Pukatu Block, then in a North easterly direction along the boundary between the Whakapoungakau Block and Omania Te Hautapu Blocks, thence by a line due east to the North Western corner of Lake Okataina, then along the northern shore of the Lake to the Okataina Scenic Road and along that road to Lake Rotoiti and along the Southern shore to the Ohau Channel. No. 2 INFESTED AREA Commencing at a point on the Eastern shore of Lake Rotoiti at its intersection with the boundary between Tautara Block and Haro Haro Block, thence by the Eastern shore of Lake Rotoiti to its intersection with the Block Line between Blocks 5 and 9 Rotoma Survey District and along the Block Line in an easterly direction to Lake Rotoehu, then along the Western and Southern shores of that Lake to the Waitangi Hot', Springs, then along the Manawahe Road to the north eastern corner of Lake Rotoma, then along the eastern shore of Lake Rotoma to its point of intersection with the Rotorua County boundary, then along that boundary to the boundary of Te Hiu-o-te-papa Block and then in a South Western direction to the northern boundary of Te Haehaenga Block in a westerly direction along the boundary of the said Te Haehaenga Block and Rotoma Block to the Haro Haro Block and then in a North western direction along the boundary of the Haro Haro Block, Rotoma Block and Tautara Block to the point of commencement. No. 3 LESS INFESTED AREA All that residue of the Rotorua extension excluding the two areas mentioned above. 258
