Herd Improvement Figures For Bay And Coast Again A Record
Again the' saying “test not type” has proved itself. The comparative figures for the Bay of Plenty Herd Improvement Association’s monthly report of December shows an increase in the number of cows under test and an increase in the test, on the same month last year. With 41,110 cows under test, each averaging 7921bs of milk, at a 4.81 test, the average of fat for the month was 38. This shows an increase in everything on December last, when only 37,160 cows were under the Association, each with an average of 7861bs of milk, at a 4.78 test, doing 38 of. fat.
