Dear Sir,
Letters to the Editor must be clearly written on one side of the paper only and where a nom-de-plume is used the name of the writer must be included for reference- purposes. The Editor reserves the right to abridge, amend or withhold any letter or letters. CALENDAR REFORM . Sir, —Calendar reform may, or may not threaten religion as “Fundamentals First” suggests; but if it has any detrimental effect on it whatsoever, then a “religion” that is unable to function because it is to be “holy” on Tuesday, instead of Sunday is of no moral value. Practical Christianity, however, being a state of mind and heart, cannot be affected by dates and hours. Its essentials “Love, one another” and “Do unto others” have no relation to time or place. . Far from the “civil government” (F F’s term) interfering with religion it appears to be vice versa. A little more real Christianity and less artificial dogma would appear to be. “FIRST FUNDAMENTAL.”
