Keen Demand For Health Stamps At Whakatane

Although the • public has already bought more health stamps than were bought in the same period last year at the Whakatane Post Office, £3l 2s of the £231 worth of stamps offered here, have yet to be sold. Last year the Whakatane post office disposed of its full quota of £167 5s worth before the stairips were withdrawn in February. This year £199 18s worth have been sold already and it is anticipated that the Whakatane people will maintain their record and buy their full quota again.
