Russian Writer Believes Space Ship From Mars Landed 40 Years Ago

Martians landed on the earth 40 years ago, says Moscow writer M. A. Kazantsev. He told an audience at the Moscow Planetarium that a space ship from Mars had landed on June 30, 1908. He said that it was propelled by uranium. According to Kazantsev, there is no other possible explanation for a gigantic hole larger than the area of Moscow blasted at Tungus, Siberia, in 1908, when two seismic shocks were recorded all over the world. The Martian space ship had left no fragments of itself, but no meteorite could have done so much damage as the Tungus missile. Mr Kazantsev added, “I believe the Martians left their planet in 1907 and arrived in June 1908, but their ship exploded.”
