Future Possibilities
When the news was referred to the chairman of the committee, Mr J. W. Wilson, he expressed pleasure on behalf of the committee at the prompt result of its representations. Classrooms of this type were too prone to become permanent, he remarked, but went on to say that the committee forsees a possibility of the District High School’s becoming a High School proper in the near future, in which case a new primary school would be built and the proposed temporary accommodation would become obsolete.
