Ohope Progress League Provides Gay Evening

Though the crowd was not as big as Anniversary night, patrons at the Ohope Progress League dance on Monday spent a very gay evening dancing to the tunes of Harrison’s orchestra. Mr E. R. Marryatt was the M.C.

A good supper was again provided, but a little over-catering was done and some of the supper had to be sold afterwards. The cake-stand competition was won by Mrs T. Gordon of Whakatane. The League’s funds. have been considerably augmented by these two dances.
