INCOME TAX: DUE DATE EXTENDED (Hamilton District Taxpayers Only)
Taxpayers in Ihe undermentioned counties, comprising the Hamilton Tax district, are notified that, owing to delay in the issue of assessments and demands by the Hamilton Branch office of the Land and Income Tax Dept, the due date for payment of Income Tax this year is extended from the normal due date (viz. 11th February, 1948) to a date in May or June, 1948, which will be notified later.
The counties are: Coromandel, Hauraki Plains, Kaitieke, Kawhia, Matamata, Ohinemuri, Ohura, Opotiki?, Otorohanga, Piako, Raglan, Rotorua, Taumarunui, Taupe, Tauranga, Thames, Waikato, Waipa, Waitonao and Whakatane.
Persons in any Tax district who received demands should pay in accordance with the due date specified on the demands.
The above extension does not apply to companies. P.B.A.
