No Further Power Cuts At Present
In the interests of power conservation it has been necessary for the Whakatane Borough electricity department to cut the supply to hot water cylinders by a further three hours a day to keep to the quota set by the manager of the State Hydro Electricity Department, reports the Borough electrical engineer, Mr F. W. Lysaght. Should that prove satisfactory in conserving sufficient units no further cuts will be made at present.
