PUBLIC NOTICES I, THOMAS CHRISTIE LONIE, being the Medical Officer of Health for the Health District of EAST CAPE, acting in exercise of the powers conferred by section 76 of the Health Act, 1920, and with the authority of the Minister of Health, do hereby— (l) Require the closing of all churches for admission to the public a from the FIFTEENTH day of DECEMBER 1947 until further order, provided that this requirement shall not apply to the admission of persons of the age of 16 years and upwards: (2) Prohibit the congregation of people at motor camps as from the FIFTEENTH day of DECEMBER 1947 until further order, provided that this prohibition shall not apply to the congregation at any motor, camp of persons of any age who on that date were resident in that motor camp or to the congregation in any motor camp of persons of the age of 16 years and upwards.
