Telegrams For All Zones Of Germany Accepted Now
Advice has been received from the Post Office that-overseas telegrams may now be accepted for all zones in Germany (including Berlin)/The following conditions apply: (1) Only full rate; L.C.; Code and press telegrams admitted at present at prewar costs to Germany. (2) Oifly following codes admitted: A.B.C. sixth edition, Acme, Bentley’s complete phrase, Bentley’s second phrase, Lombard shipping, Lombard shipping and transport, New Standard half word, New Standard three-let-ter, Peterson’s third edition, New Boe Bunting’s second edition. Name of code must appear in preamble. (3) Telegrams are accepted at sender’s risk. (4) Following-supplement-ary services are not accepted—telegrams with telegraphic acknowledgment of receipt; telegram with postal acknowledgment of receipt; collated; express paid; night.
