Bowlers’ Field Day In Te Teko Game
Bowlers had a day out at Te Teko and some impressive averages were turned in on both sides. Thurlow, of Te Teko took 7 wickets for 35 runs in Rangers’ first innings and Pope took the other three for 16. Thurlow took the only four wickets that fell in Rangers’ second strike for 28. Of the visitors, Malaquin, 4 for 4 and 3 for 15, and Robinson, 4 for 13 were the best on the day. Top bat on the day was Burt who made 34 of Rangers first innings 70.
