Taneatua Women’s Institute Show
The Home Industries and Flower Show sponsored by the Taneatua Women’s Institute and held in the Taneatua hall last week was very highly successful both from the point of view of quality and number of exhibits.
The Doris Grey rose bowl for most points in the show was won by Mrs Grey, who also won the Taneatua W.D.F.F. Oup presented by Mrs Hilda Hill for the W.D.F.F. member winning most points in the show. Mrs Bennett was the runnerup for the Doi’is Grey rose bowl and Mrs F. Matchitt for the H. Hill cup. The champion bloom of the show was a very fine rose pink carnation exhibited by Mrs C. L. Roberts.
