Mr J. L. Burnett, chairman of the Whakatane County Council, has again been nominated as the County’s representative on No. 3 District Highways Council.
Crs W. M. Clarke, K. L. Caverhill, D. T. Allan and J. Wilson, new members of the Whakatane County Council, were welcomed at the annual meeting on Friday by the chairman, Mr J. L. Burnett, who said he was sure they would be worthy succesors to those they followed.
