Investigation Into Possible Increases In Production

The Aid to Britain branch committees of Federated Farmers of N.Z. (Auckland Province) Inc. recently established, have now been advised to collect, as soon as possible in each area, information which will indicate:—

1. To what extent production can be increased if limiting factors were overcome, specifying, for example, butter, cheese, pigs, sheep, cattle, catch crops. 2. The limiting factors of production generally, specifically jn relation to supplies and materials required in order to achieve increased production. 3. Areas of land which could be brought into production. A communique from Auckland provincial headquarters of Federated Farmers points out it is realised that, particularly in large branches, a grea.t strain will be put on committees. It is hoped, therefore, that all members will lend every assistance and voluntarily contact their local committees at once, submitting the information desired.
