Fresh Fish 3 Years Old
Under a new preservation system being developed at Grimsby, it is expected that fish will be marketed more than three T years after it has been caught and still retain its original freshness. It will prevent, the present wastage during periods of plenty and avoid shortages when weather conditions cut supplies. A Grimsby official stated that the new system is an outcome of stratosphere flying during the war, which made possible the working of machinery in very low temperatures.
