Corso Provides X-Ray Aid For Chinese Hospitals
Since Mr N. R. McDougal of Auckland was sent to China early this year by Corso to re-equip the war wrecked Mission Hospitals with Xray sets and similar “electro-medi-cal” plant, he has seen over one Hundred X-Ray Units, recommended by him, allocated and- installed, according to a report received by Corso. “I am now dismantling and test- ' ing X-Ray sets and power plants which recently arrived in Shanghai” he continues, “because many re- , built hospitals have, as yet, no facilities to carry out even the' simplest repairs so that should a unit reach them in damaged condition it >is virtually useless until an engineer can be spared to visit the place. I inspected recently the cargo of various goods sent to China by. Corso. They are-very good and people over here will be more than thankful to share in them.”
