Farewell Party For Popular Taneatua Girl

Friends of Miss Lorna Print gathered in the Taneatua hall one evening last week to bid her farewell on the eve of her departure to live in Auckland.

A very pleasant evening was spent in dancing to music provided by Mrs Gardner, Mr G. Print, Mr A. Wardlaw and Mrs G. Grey. Mr 'F. Gardner was M.C. A Monte Carlo dance was won by Mrs Print and Mr N. Semmens and another by Miss A. Frost and partner.

After supper had been served Mr F. Gardner made £? presentation on behalf of Mha ' Yoifhg „P.eQ.p%’ Clubof ,a pearls, Miss'" ■•Betty O’Brien presented a silver eversharp pencil on behalf of the basketball girls. Miss Print expressed her thanks in a very charming little speech.
